My Past Blogging Adventures

Back in 1998, when I started managing my family business (a local law firm) I had a great marketing idea — why not start a website? I would be in charge of designing it and creating content.

We were one of the first firms in Colorado Springs to have a website.

Even back then I knew the importance of giving value to our visitors. So, I wrote hundreds of blog posts that taught them about the law.

The site brought in many clients who wouldn’t have found us otherwise and had a significant impact on the firm’s bottom line.

When my husband (aka, “the lawyer”) became a judge in 2016, the firm closed. And I got to become a fulltime blogger. I love to create in-depth articles, newsletters and online courses for my readers.

Even after spending 20 years writing briefs as a paralegal I can’t stop writing and doing research. Weird, huh?
